Training fees shall be paid in full no later than 15 Working Days (Mon-Fri ex) prior to training commencement. If fees have not been paid by that time the booking will be cancelled and the training place will be released to others.
The Client has the right to cancel this Agreement without any liability within 14 days of date of Agreement provided that Services have not commenced and are not due to commence within 15 working days.
If at the time of cancellation the course is due to commence within 15 working days cancellation fees will apply as follows:
15-11 working days prior to course commencement
10-6 working days prior to course commencement
5-0 working days prior to course commencement
A booked course can be rescheduled any time before the course commences by paying the corresponding re-scheduling fee as listed:

Client may substitute course participants by written notification to Company subject to new course participants complying with course requirements (including pre-requisites, and pre-course reading) as notified by Company to Client, or as detailed in course outline.
If you wish to cancel an order simply because you change your mind we will exchange or refund provided you return it within 14 days from the date of purchase in its original attached and with our original receipt.
Our customers' right to a refund of purchase price
Our customers are entitled to a refund if the item is faulty, not of merchantable quality or not fit for its purpose.
You are entitled to a refund for items you purchase from Wired if the item is:
(a) faulty and the fault or defect was not pointed out to you before you purchased it or would not have been apparent to you when you inspected the goods before purchase; or
(b) not 'of merchantable quality', meaning that it is not of the quality that you reasonably expected when you purchased it, bearing in mind the way the item was described to you before your purchase and also the price of the item; or
(c) not fit for its purpose, meaning that the item does not do what you reasonably expected it would;
And you return the item within a reasonable time after purchase and provide Wired with proof of purchase, such as your original Wired receipt or bank statement. If you do not return the item within a reasonable time, you will not be entitled to a refund at the purchase price but you will be entitled to exchange the goods or have them repaired.
Wired's 'Change of Mind' Policy
Wired is not legally obligated to give refunds off the purchase price or gift cards on items or exchange them simply because you have changed your mind about the purchase.
However under our own Wired 'change of mind' policy, if you simply change your mind we do offer a refund, exchange or gift card of value equivalent to the purchase price for most items provided that:
(a) you return the item within 14 days from the date of purchase (or for Online purchases, from the date you receive it); and
(b) the item is in its original condition; and
(d) you provide an original Wired tax invoice as proof of purchase; and

APMG, the certification body, makes decisions to issue certificates based upon factual evidence be it examination results or evidence gained during an assessment process. Provisional (recommended) results may be issued for Foundation level exams and for higher level exams via Proctor Now, Proctor Pro or the APM Group Invigilator, but these are always subject to review and if appropriate, a Certification Decision being made by APM Group staff.
Should you, however, consider that an examination certification decision is wrong we operate an appeals process whereby the decision will be independently reviewed. Appeals must be submitted in writing to the Quality Manager together with sufficient information to support the appeal and enable a review to be completed. Without information to support the grounds on which an appeal is being made a review cannot be undertaken. Appeals are dealt with impartially in a non-discriminatory manner and will not affect the appellant's standing with APMG-International.
Appeals will initially be examined and acknowledged by the APMG Quality Manager who will inform you if there are insufficient grounds or information for the appeal to proceed or request that you provide additional information. Valid appeals will be considered by appropriate resource within the organization, who are independent of the original decision.
Examination appeals must be lodged by the ATO (Wired) which hosted the exam on behalf of the candidate except that in the case of public exams the candidate may submit an appeal directly. With examinations, it should be remembered that most of APMG-International's exams go through validated automatic marking. Candidates who fail examinations by a small margin should consider this carefully if contemplating an appeal.
The outcome of all appeals will be notified to the appellant.
The appeals process is monitored by the independent APMG-International Ethics and Standards Board to ensure that all appeals decisions are made fairly and equitably. The decisions from the appeals process will be considered as being final.
Please note that examinations taken using Proctor Now or Proctor Pro where the candidates has breached one or more of the conditions of taking examination using this software are NOT eligible to make an appeal, as no certification decision has been made. The output of the exam sitting has already been reviewed by two separate and independent teams prior to the breach decision and is therefore final.
What is an Appeal?
An Appeal is a formal procedure by which a registered candidate can appeal against an exam result or a decision on certification. In such situations the appellant is required to submit their appeal in writing. For Proctor Pro/Now where no certification decision has been made, the appeal route is not applicable.
Grounds for Appeal
There are three grounds on which a candidate may appeal:
1. Personal or medical grounds
2. Procedural grounds
3. The decision was biased or discriminatory
All appeals must be made within 12 months of the certification decision being taken. Candidates must be able to provide clear evidence that the decision against which they are appealing meets at least one of the following criteria:
Relevant information of mitigating circumstances received by stated deadlines had not been taken into consideration.
Substantial procedural irregularity.
Evidence to suggest that a decision may have been biased or discriminatory.
It is the responsibility of the candidate to provide APMG with clear evidence that one of the grounds listed above is valid.
Candidates considering an appeal should take note of the following:
Disagreement with the exam result for multiple choice papers does not give grounds for appeal.
Proctor Now candidates who have not followed the candidate guidance and have had their examination result revoked, have no grounds for an appeal, as there is no exam result nor any decision made on certification.
Appeals will only be accepted on the grounds listed above and no other grounds will be considered.
When appealing on the grounds of circumstances relating to events prior to the examination, the Invigilator must have been informed in writing prior to the examination.
When appealing on the grounds of circumstances relating to events during the examination, the events must have been brought to the invigilator's attention before leaving the examination room.

Wired endeavours to provide the best possible service. However, should you feel the need to complain we take this very seriously and operate a complaints investigation and resolution process as outlined below.
Complaints should be submitted to Wired Consulting in writing in the form of a letter, fax or e-mail - see the Contact Us page for our contact details. Initially they should be addressed to the Service Desk which will log the complaint and allocate it to an appropriate person to handle. We endeavour to acknowledge complaints within two working days of receipt with investigations being completed within ten working days or, if a longer period is necessary, the complainant being informed of the expected timescale.
We make every effort to bring complaints to a satisfactory conclusion following initial investigation. However, should this not prove possible we have an escalation process with the Quality Manager determining final closure. Further, all complaints are reviewed regularly to identify improvements which can be made. Complaints received are dealt with impartially in a non-discriminatory manner and will not affect a complainants standing with Wired Consulting.
Disability Discrimination Act
Wired make every effort to comply with the Equality Act 2010. Within direct employment by Wiredl and accreditation of trainers, consultants and IA professionals, each applicant is taken on merit and no prejudice shown in relation to gender, age, race, religion, physical or mental impairment or any other factor outside of the assessment criteria.
All of our open centre examination venues have excellent access for candidates attending examination sessions and reasonable adjustments can be made upon request for those candidates with access or support requirements to help them gain their qualification.
Candidates with access or support requirements
Wired and its suppliers make every effort to ensure that candidates with access and/or support requirements are able to sit the examination within reasonable limits to ensure they have as equal a chance as any other well prepared candidate to pass the examination.
Wired believes that each candidate is different and that individuals will have differing access and/or support needs and as such we will make every effort to provide reasonable adjustments suited to individual access or support requirements. Examples of adjustments made for candidates in the past include:

These examples are indicative of the unique, flexible and adaptable approach that APMG-International take for candidates who reasonable adjustments, but it is by no means an exhaustive list of reasonable adjustments made in the past or those that will be considered for future candidates.

For a candidate who is unable to write for a long period of time due to a confirmed medical condition, the Examination or Qualification Boards have accepted the following procedures.
A doctor’s note should be provided, confirming the candidate’s condition.
The candidate is allowed to type their answers rather than write them, with the Invigilator / Proctor / Supervisor following the guidelines below:
Computer / Laptop Use
The computer / laptop to be used should ideally be supplied by the ATO / Invigilator / Proctor / Supervisor, not by the candidate, unless the candidate can confirm to the ATO / APMG-International that they need to supply their own. This may be the case for visually impaired candidates.
If delegates are authorised to use their own computer / laptop they must be advised that it must be cleaned of all relevant material (e.g. templates, copies of core guidance, mock / sample papers or practice answers, etc) and a technically competent member of the ATO will check that the systems have been wiped prior to the examination, from which time the computer / laptop will not be returned to the candidate until the examination starts. This check should be documented with signatures from both the ATO representative and the candidate on the Use of Electronic equipment in Examinations document available via the APMG-Network.
All machines must be cleaned of all programmes other than system files and a copy of Microsoft Word or other word processing programme. The ATO / Invigilator / Proctor / Supervisor must confirm this condition immediately before the examination is run and document this in the Notes to Invigilator booklet.
APMG-International recommend that while invigilating the examination the invigilator / proctor / supervisor sit at the rear of the room so that the screens are visible so they can more easily police any copy and paste activity or possible wireless connections to websites.
Each candidate’s document must be saved onto an electronic storage device (CD, disk, or USB key) clearly showing their candidate number and date of examination, immediately after the examination and given to the Invigilator / Proctor / Supervisor. The file name of the document should be <candidate number and examination date>. The invigilator / proctor / supervisor should check the disk and make a printed copy, and return both the disk and a printed copy of the document to APMG-International with the rest of the examination papers, in the usual manner. The examination will not be marked if a proper copy of the script is not provided.
The Invigilator / Proctor / Supervisor must delete the electronic copy of the answers from the computer / laptop after a copy has been created on storage media and a hard copy printed. This must include final deletion from the ‘recycle bin’.
Candidates may not copy any information into their answer papers, but must type all of their answers. However, despite the above precautions, it is possible that candidates may attempt to "paste" in text from reference documents, e.g. the Reference Manual for the product. Any such text detected during or after the examination by the ATO / Invigilator / Proctor / Supervisor is to be highlighted on the document. Marks will not be awarded for pasted text.
The candidate should take the examination in a separate room to other candidates, as a clicking keyboard could be a distraction to them. Ideally, an invigilator should be provided for each room. However, if necessary a single Invigilator / Proctor / Supervisor can be used to monitor examinations in immediately adjacent rooms. If under exceptional circumstances this is not viable and the candidate needs to remain in the same room, all candidates must agree they will not be distracted and enter into an appeal.
Additionally APMG-International may offer extra time to candidates with writing difficulties on a discretionary basis. Requests should be made to APMG-International.
Only in very exceptional circumstances will APMG-International be able to offer oral examinations, in the event of a candidate being unable to write or type. Decisions will be made on a case by case basis.
Candidates, who for security reasons, require a face-to-face assessment interview and who have mobility issues may request for the interview to be conducted at premises meeting appropriate accessibility. If you are thinking of applying for IA certified professional status and require both a face-to-face interview and a venue with specific accessibility then please contact APMG-International directly to discuss your requirements further.
Candidates entering any examination with APMG Group (APMG) agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions contained herein.
1. Candidate ID
Candidates are required to bring a means of photo identification to the exam centre, (including but not limited to, Passport, ID card and Driving Licence). If proof of identification is not provided to the Trainer/Invigilator prior to the examination, APMG reserve the right to refuse the candidate entry to sit the exam.
2. Code of behaviour from Candidates
Candidates must be present at least 30 minutes prior to the examination start time. When attending the exam, candidates must ensure they are polite and courteous to other candidates and the Trainer/Invigilator.
APMG will award a Certificate as a Registered Practitioner to candidates who:
i) Have successfully achieved sufficient marks to pass the Foundation Examinations;
ii) Have successfully achieved sufficient marks to pass the Intermediate Examination (where applicable);
iii) Have successfully passed the Foundation Examination to be able take the Practitioner Examination, if verification is provided; and
iv) Agree to the APMG Ltd terms of certification as detailed in these Terms and Conditions.
Certification does not allow the use of any Trade Mark or Logo associated with the certification scheme or associated products and schemes.
Should the candidate misuse any certificate, Trade Mark or Logo associated with any of the certification schemes appropriate action will be taken to resolve the case and prevent recurrence. Serious and/or continuous misuse will give rise to certificates being withdrawn and legal action being taken as appropriate.
3. Surveillance Monitoring
At a minimum of three, and a maximum of five years after initial certification, where applicable, Registered Practitioners are required to sit and pass the Re-registration examination in order to retain certification as a Registered Practitioner. The Re-registration examination is to a similar standard as the Intermediate & Practitioner examination but is a shorter version.
4. Special Allowances
APMG has a Disability Policy, which is available on the website on the Candidate Disability Policy page. The Disability Policy explains the arrangements in place to provide assistance to candidates for equal access to all.
APMG requires all Registered Practitioners to keep a record of complaints made against them within the scope of their certificate of competence. Such complaints are to be notified to APMG. The record of complaints will be subject to audit at the time of Re-Registration Examination. Such complaints about a Registered Practitioner if received by APMG in the absence of notification by the Registered Practitioner concerned may result in suspension or withdrawal of certification. If candidates, ATOs, ACOs or third parties wish to make a complaint against APMG there is a formal complaints process on the website which is available on the Complaints page.
APMG operates a formal appeals process which is available on the Appeals page.
7. Retention of information
APMG will retain completed candidate details forms for a period of 12 months after the date of the examination, after which the information will be securely destroyed. In the event of a dispute the information held by APMG on their records will be accepted as correct. Electronic copies of candidate information will be held for the lifetime of the qualification scheme in order to provide verification of results upon request, in accordance with the data protection statement outlined below. Examination answer scripts will be securely destroyed 12 months after the date of the examination.
8. Data Protection Statement
APMG comply with all relevant and current DPA laws within all countries of operation.
Under the rules of our accreditation by UKAS, APMG are obliged to hold a list of the candidate number, date of exam and candidate name for all successful candidates. If a candidate passes the examination then this information will be added to our website, though other than this stated use, all personal data provided by the candidate and details of examination scores will be held in confidence by APMG and will only be used to develop and improve its accredited training and examination processes. In no circumstances will APMG either sell or pass on contact details to a third party. The date of examination, name and candidate number of successful candidates will be posted on the APMG website in the form of a Successful Candidate Register for each qualification.
On completing the Candidate Details Form, candidates are required to indicate their wish to be included on a Successful Candidate Register. Where candidates have ticked the Data Protection box, APMG will only divulge exam results to the ATO who ran the associated training and will not enter candidate results on the Successful Candidate Register. Leaving the box unchecked gives APMG permission to enter the candidate on the public website, and to inform any third party of whether the candidate has passed the exam. If the candidate’s preference changes at a later date, written confirmation must be received by APMG with a copy of the examination certificate giving APMG permission to change the preference. Please note there will be a £10.00+VAT administration charge for any such changes.
APMG will not be held liable should the website or any Successful Candidate Register be incomplete. Candidates should contact APMG in the first instance should they believe any records are incomplete. Release of examination results, by a training organization, to a candidate’s employer is a matter for agreement between the candidate and the training organization concerned. APMG will invite all successful candidates who have sat the Practitioner examination to complete an online questionnaire after their results have been released to help us improve our services.
